Begin with a decision, not a dashboard
A useful operating view exists to help someone make a recurring decision. Start by naming that decision, then map the systems that provide the relevant signal and the person who owns its quality.
Resolve disagreement explicitly
When two systems disagree, choose the authoritative source for the specific decision and record why. Freshness, scope, and update timing matter as much as the field name.
Expand only after the small view holds
Start with one read-only report or workflow, validate it with the owner, and keep a review cadence. A smaller dependable signal is a stronger foundation than a connected picture nobody can explain.
